Dino is an Associate Solicitor in the Child Abuse department at Bolt Burdon Kemp and has been with the firm since 2012.
Dino specialises in actions for child abuse survivors and has recognised expertise in the following:
- Abuse in football and a number of other sports
- Abuse within religious institutions, especially the Catholic Church and the Church of England
- Abuse in the Scout Association
- Abuse in the military
- Abuse in private schools and also state schools
- Abuse in youth clubs
- Abuse abroad
- Abuse in the family and directly against individuals who have taken advantage of their position of authority
He represents clients worldwide and often travels to see clients while also being accessible to them in evenings and on weekends via email and mobile phone.
Dino was involved in the reported case of Curtis v Curtis and another  EWCA Civ 1602;  All ER (D) 46 (Jan) where it was held that a charity had unduly influenced Mr Curtis to sign a declaration of trust handing over his home to the charity and that he was therefore entitled to recover his share of the matrimonial home.
Dino has appeared in a number of media publications providing his expert opinion and commentary, to include BBC News and the Victoria Derbyshire programme, BBC Radio, ITV, LBC Radio and a number of national and local newspapers to include articles for the Guardian and the Times. Dino has provided his expert opinion to a number of international media outlets and he also regularly provides external training sessions on child abuse law.
He has provided evidence to the Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse and has been asked to comment extensively upon the Inquiry by a number of national newspapers and other media outlets.
He is an Ambassador for the Survivors Trust Wales and the Survivors Trust, both being umbrella charities committed to helping survivors of child abuse. He conducts a number of charity talks every year and he is also part of the organising group for Abuse Awareness Week that is held annually in February.
