Committed to swiftly progressing claims

Taylor joined Bolt Burdon Kemp in January 2025 and is a Senior Solicitor in the Personal Injury Claims team, specialising in complex orthopaedic injury claims.

Prior to joining BBK, Taylor trained in a leading regional firm in Norwich where he specialised in personal injury. During this time, he worked exclusively on behalf of claimants, representing both adults and children who had suffered injuries as result of road traffic collisions and accidents at work.

Taylor’s experience spans a variety of cases from life-threatening spinal and head injury claims to accidents abroad. This includes representing a client who suffered life-changing orthopaedic injuries and could not return to her former job and assisting on a claim which settled for £1 million following a serious motorcycle accident. Taylor secured settlements for a man who was injured playing football on an uneven pitch and a woman who lost the end of her thumb using a defective mandolin at work.

Alongside his casework, Taylor contributes to stakeholder discussions concerning the development of legislation relating to automated vehicles and engages with the evolving legal issues regarding micromobility. His particular interest in road traffic collisions extends to commenting on the legal challenges presented by new forms of transport such as e-scooters and working with PACTS to call for changes to the laws regarding e-bikes.

Taylor recognises the emotional impact accidents can have on both injured clients and their families. He is dedicated to building a good rapport with clients to provide the highest standard of service and professionalism whilst ensuring his clients feel supported through each stage of their claim. This passion for helping injured people allows Taylor to secure his clients the best outcome including the rehabilitative treatment they need.

Notable cases

Taylor’s notable cases involve securing a settlement of £123,000 for a man who was knocked off his motorcycle suffering fractures of his left femur and right wrist. He also played an instrumental role in obtaining a seven figure settlement sum for a couple in a high profile incident.

He also currently represents numerous clients who have suffered serious injuries as a result of defective products.
