  • finding you a support group or network to talk to other people in a similar position.

We can organise a professional case manager to assess you and design a bespoke care package to meet your needs. Through our agreements with specialist providers, we can also provide immediate direct access to a range of services without the need to wait for your compensation claim to be finished, including:-

  • occupational therapy

We understand the importance of support and rehabilitation to ensure that you do not feel defined by your cancer.

Advance payments of compensation

We understand that for many cancer patients the immediate priority is to secure the best possible treatment to improve the outlook and quality of life.

This could include access to cutting edge medicine treatment and technology, for example, new drugs, therapies and surgical techniques, which may only be available on a private funded basis.

For others, the priority may be to make the most of the time they have left with their family and friends.

Whatever your individual circumstances, we will secure advance payments of compensation for you at the earliest possible stage, so that wherever possible you have access to the funds you need when it can make the most difference.

Benefits

We appreciate the financial impact that cancer can have on you and your family. It may be that you are no longer able to work and or that your loved ones have taken time off to care for you.

We can arrange for you to receive advice on the benefits you are entitled to and assistance with how to claim these.

Depending on your situation, you may have other practical, financial, or legal concerns that need to be addressed in order for you and your loved ones to have security and peace of mind.
We will do everything possible to get the advice you need and to put you in touch with those who can assist you.

Charitable organisations

You may find that the following charitable organisations provide useful sources of information, advice and practical support:

  • Macmillan Cancer Support
  • Sue Ryder

Depending on your needs and the nature of your cancer there are also a wide range of dedicated local and national charities and support groups that provide a wealth of useful information, advice, support and other services. Support after the death of a loved one

The death of someone close to you can be devastating, no matter what the circumstances. If you have lost a loved one to cancer when it may have been preventable, it can make things worse.
