Loren Martin is a solicitor in the Workplace Bullying and Harassment department. She works alongside Thomas Beale, acting for individuals who have suffered psychological and physical injury and abuse. She is motivated to use the law to challenge systemic failings and achieve justice for vulnerable clients who have been let down by employers and other organisations.
Loren is drawn to cases where people have been mistreated at work and are dealing with the lasting impact on them. She finds this work rewarding, where she can help clients feel listened to and supported, whilst holding those responsible to account. Loren has experience working with vulnerable clients, including those who have a deep mistrust of institutions, and is known for her empathetic and clear approach to client care.
Loren qualified as a solicitor in September 2024 into the Human Rights department of her previous firm, having worked in the department since 2021. During this time, she developed her experience in negligence cases and claims under the Human Rights Act against public bodies, local authorities and health and social care institutions.
Loren has also worked on high-profile claims arising from the infected blood scandal. She supported individuals and families who were infected with Hepatitis C and HIV as a result of failings of the government, NHS and other public bodies. Her work included preparing submissions to the Infected Blood Inquiry with recommendations that informed the final reports and navigating complex compensation frameworks to help clients secure redress.
Loren is pleased to continue her work at Bolt Burdon Kemp, supporting clients through challenging situations with compassion and clarity.
