Tereza joined Bolt Burdon Kemp as a Paralegal in September 2024 and was promoted to Senior Paralegal in 2026. She works alongside Jonathan Mussington in the Costs team.
Tereza regularly prepares bills of costs, costs budgets and points of reply, and undertakes negotiations to maximise costs recovery for clients. She has experience dealing with complex, high-value personal injury and clinical negligence matters, including preparing bills with work in progress exceeding £250,000.
Before joining Bolt Burdon Kemp, Tereza gained three years’ experience in costs, working both in-house at a national personal injury firm and at a specialist costs practice. During this time, she developed expertise in recovering costs across a wide range of personal injury matters, including clinical negligence and serious injury claims. She has also worked as a paralegal in employment and immigration law.
Tereza is currently undertaking the Association of Costs Lawyers (ACL) qualification and is due to qualify as a Costs Lawyer in 2027. She is committed to developing her expertise in costs law and providing clients with practical, commercially focused advice while securing the best possible outcomes.
Tereza graduated from the University of Greenwich with a First-Class LLB (Hons) in 2021 before beginning her career in costs.
