Ella joined Bolt Burdon Kemp in November 2025 as a paralegal in the Spinal Cord Injury team. Working in Alex Dabek’s team, she assists on complex claims where spinal cord injuries have been sustained as a result of clinical negligence.
Ella graduated from the University of Leeds with a first-class law degree in 2022, with a particular interest in tort and healthcare law. After University, Ella spent two years living and working in client-facing roles in Canada, where she adopted an approachable and professional approach to client care that she brings to her work.
Whilst studying, Ella was committed to various pro-bono initiatives, with a particular emphasis on making legal education and advice available to vulnerable or at-risk individuals, including a ‘Streetlaw’ project, a research initiative with the National Justice Museum, and volunteering for a free legal advice clinic.
Ella completed the Legal Practice Course with distinction at the University of Law in 2025 and elected to study Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence Law and Practice, which strengthened her resolve to champion individual needs and help clients obtain compensation while they focus on rehabilitation. Ella hopes to qualify as a solicitor with a specialty in clinical negligence.
