Victoria is a Paralegal in the Spinal Injury team, assisting Tom Lax.

Victoria is a keen supporter of, and volunteer for, the Silverlining charity and Headway East London, both local brain injury charities.  She regularly attends meetings with the ‘Silverliners’ and has been assisting both charities in helping to alleviate the effects of COVID-19.  Vicky is also looking forward to getting involved with charities that support people with spinal injuries, like the SIA.

Victoria enjoys the client care aspect of her role, especially speaking to clients and being part of a team that achieves successes for them.  She always ensures she provides the highest standard of service to clients and maintains a high degree of professionalism.  Victoria is passionate about helping clients obtain compensation to help them live their life to the full, as well as getting them the best therapy programmes.  She is also keen to broaden her knowledge of brain injuries and has written many blogs about various methods of rehabilitation.

After obtaining her law degree at the University of Sussex in 2014, Victoria worked as a litigation paralegal and provided debt advice as a volunteer at a local law centre, before taking some time out to travel.  Whilst living in New Zealand, Victoria volunteered for a legal helpline, providing free legal advice to the community.  Supporting and advising vulnerable clients inspired her to pursue a legal career in clinical negligence and led her to finding a role at Bolt Burdon Kemp upon her return to the UK.  She is currently combining work with her studies and is due to complete the Legal Practice Course next year.  Upon completion, Victoria hopes to qualify as a solicitor and specialise in clinical negligence.
