Party at The Prince – a wonderful evening in support of Horatio’s Garden
We thoroughly enjoyed our evening at Party at The Prince. It was fantastic to see so many people turning out in support of Horatio’s Garden.
We listened to the inspiring and moving stories of those that have benefitted from the beautiful gardens and how their rehabilitation journey was improved by the positive impact that being around nature can have (and not forgetting how tasty the cakes are!). We also heard from those who participated in the gruelling but inspirational fundraising challenge which involved cycling to all 11 NHS spinal injury centres in 11 days, covering 1100 miles. We heard all about how the hills of Sheffield posed many challenges!
We got involved with the raffle draw and although we didn’t win any of the coveted prizes, we were delighted to contribute and Molly Tonks, Paralegal in the Spinal Team was absolutely delighted to win the mystery prize of a Greggs voucher. I hear she is looking forward to sampling some more vegan sausage rolls!
Thank you for putting on such a fantastic event, Horatio’s Garden! We certainly enjoyed ourselves and it was great to get to know so many of your long standing supporters!
