Hayyin joined Bolt Burdon Kemp’s Abuse Team as a Solicitor in January 2024. Hayyin specialises in bringing civil claims for compensation on behalf of survivors of abuse.
Before joining BBK, Hayyin completed her training and qualified as a Solicitor in September 2019 at a large national law firm well-known for its personal injury work. Hayyin has acted on behalf of claimants throughout her legal career and she has specialised exclusively in Abuse litigation since 2018. Hayyin finds supporting survivors of abuse incredibly rewarding, and she has experience in bringing claims against social services.
Hayyin has dealt with abuse claims against local authorities, individual abusers, religious institutions, schools and NHS Trusts. She also has experience in dealing with claims against people in positions of authorities, such as foster carers, clinicians and teachers.
Hayyin is passionate about helping survivors of abuse to access specialist support. Hayyin recognises that she is often one of the first people that a client has disclosed their experiences to, and she always works to ensure that her clients are listened to and fully supported through the legal process, which often forms a part of her clients’ healing process. Hayyin always strives to provide exceptional client care and has received positive feedback for her caring, sensitive and empathetic approach. She works to ensure that she achieves the very best outcomes for her clients, with successes in achieving out-of-court settlements for her clients.
Hayyin has experience in providing training and support to a number of charities on the civil claims process.
Hayyin read Law at the University of Warwick. Hayyin then completed the Legal Practice course at the University of Law, where she was awarded a Distinction.
