Gurleen joined Bolt Burdon Kemp in January 2024 as a Paralegal in the Abuse team working alongside Abbie Hickson.
Before joining BBK, Gurleen worked as an Immigration Analyst where she managed her own caseload of complex cases. Here, she challenged visa refusals from the Home Office and obtained a variety of visas for her clients. Through this experience, Gurleen has become skilled at building rapport with clients and understands the importance of achieving the outcomes which they deserve. Gurleen strives to provide the best service to her clients which goes above and beyond expectations, and prides herself on her professionalism and dedication to always thinking client first.
Gurleen obtained an LLB from the University of Birmingham and graduated in July 2023 with first class honours. As part of her studies, she also completed a year abroad in Toronto, Canada. During her time at university, she focused particularly on tort and healthcare law. Motivated by the intricacies of this field and opportunity to positively impact lives affected by abuse, Gurleen sought to pursue a career in serious injury law.
Going forward, Gurleen aspires to qualify as a solicitor, so she can continue pursue her passion of providing support and securing justice for people who have suffered abuseGurleen speaks fluent Punjabi and Hindi.
