Bonnie joined Bolt Burdon Kemp (BBK) in June 2023 as a paralegal in our Complex Injury team, assisting Charlotte Dowson. Since starting at BBK she has worked on fatal claims and amputation Injuries.
Prior to joining BBK, Bonnie studied Law at UCL, focussing particularly on tort and healthcare law. Motivated by the complexities of this area and the opportunity to make a difference to lives changed through injury and injustice, Bonnie sought to pursue a career in serious injury law. During Bonnie’s studies at UCL she volunteered in their Legal Aid Clinic. Here, she realised her strength in working with clients who had experienced considerable challenges. Bonnie found an easy empathy with the clients which, in turn, translated into a productive working relationship.
Also, during her time at UCL, Bonnie volunteered for the charity Oasis as an advocate. During her time volunteering, she worked cases on behalf of individuals, often those with histories of trauma, who were struggling with housing and finances, to maximise their stability and allow them to return to, and build, fulfilling lives.
Working with clients at BBK, it is Bonnie’s goal to get the best outcomes for them, whilst realising her personal goal of becoming a solicitor dedicated to securing justice for people who have suffered serious injury.
