Headteacher in court after ‘20 sexual offences against children’
A former headteacher has appeared in court charged with 20 sexual offences against children.
Neil Foden, former head of Ysgol Friars, is accused of sexual assault against five children over four years, all of which he denies.
Following my article from January 2024, Foden appeared at Mold Crown Court on Monday, 22 April 2024, where the jury heard witness evidence of his alleged offences.
The prosecution argues Foden grossly abused his position of trust and responsibility to access and assault the girls.
So far, video, image, and screenshot evidence has been presented in court alongside witness testimony.
The trial continues and ultimately, it will be up to the jury to weigh the witness, forensic, and digital evidence to reach a decision.
