Morgan joined Bolt Burdon Kemp in July 2024 as a Graduate Solicitor Apprentice, in the Spinal Injury team. Morgan assists Alex Dabek in complex claims involving spinal cord injuries sustained as a result of clinical negligence. She is also studying for the SQE exams at The University of Law, with the hopes of qualifying as a solicitor at BBK in 2026.
Morgan is eager to develop practical legal skills alongside her educational studies. She is particularly passionate about clinical negligence cases after analysing how the law on clinical negligence deals effectively with mental health patients for her dissertation. Morgan is particularly interested in the effects of cauda equina syndrome for patients and the red flags to look out for. She is keen to expand her knowledge further on the consequences of negligent delay in diagnosis for spinal infections such as discitis. Morgan understands the vulnerability of clients and is keen to help with additional support, fighting for the resources they need.
Morgan has recently graduated from the University of Law after studying her master’s in law, consisting of the PGDL, plus a dissertation. This nine-month conversion course has enabled her to establish the foundations of her legal career.
