Kathryn joined Bolt Burdon Kemp in 2019 as a member of the Support Team, who work to support the operations of each team and practice area.
A key part of Kathryn’s role involves providing general administrative support to the firm by preparing incoming and outgoing post; printing and preparing trial bundles for court; answering the phones as a first point of contact for new clients via the switchboard; organising and preparing documents for storage.
As well as the variety of support tasks to help keep the office running smoothly, Kathryn has also been involved in BBK’s Sustainability Project which enables the firm tocontribute postively to the environment. They have a passion for solving problems within their role and they enjoy the wide variety of tasks in their day-to-day life at BBK.
Before joining BBK, Kathryn gained a BA in International Relations & Politics from London Metropolitan University which enabled them to possess good analytical skills, lateral thinking and a good eye for detail. It also enhanced their interest in helping people in need receive justice and care. After gaining their degree, they then worked for many years in Customer Service roles which helped them to hone their passion for helping people, as well as giving them extensive experience in working with the public and enhancing their communication skills.
