Jessica started her training contract in October 2024, and is currently completing her first seat in the Adult Brain Injury team.
Jessica joined Bolt Burdon Kemp in September 2021 and worked as a Senior paralegal in the Child Brain Injury Team, assisting Mollie Benjamin, Claudia Hillemand and Caroline Klage.
Jessica achieved a distinction in her Legal Practice Course in July 2024.
Jessica studied Theology and Sociology at Bristol University, graduating in 2020, and completed the Graduate Diploma in Law in 2021 at BPP University (London). Alongside her studies, she worked for the NHS as an Accident and Emergency receptionist and an administrative assistant in the Antenatal clinic. Through her work for the NHS Jessica gained a first-hand insight into the importance of good healthcare and helping patients receive the best care they can get. It also highlighted to her the significant role that Bolt Burdon Kemp can play in fighting claims of medical negligence when healthcare fails patients. Jessica has always had a passion for helping other people, alongside a strong interest in medicine and medical ethics, this has driven her passion for pursuing a career in medical law.
Jessica has worked with children in the past and is motivated by helping and improving the quality of life for children who have suffered from brain injuries, alongside providing ongoing support for the parents ensuring they receive the help they need.
