Jakiran is a Solicitor in the Spinal Injury Team at Bolt Burdon Kemp working alongside Alex Dabek, Senior Associate. She joined the firm in March 2024 as a newly qualified solicitor, with 5 years’ previous experience in dealing with clinical negligence claims involving spinal injuries, brain injuries and birth injuries, both as a paralegal and as a trainee solicitor at two Legal 500 top tier firms.
Jakiran has experience in dealing with spinal injury claims and has obtained damages for clients in the sum of £1 million or more. Jakiran was heavily involved in a case where her client sustained a haematoma as a result of the Defendant administering Clexane too early. The claim was defended vigorously and eventually was taken to trial and was successful. However, the Defendant appealed the decision and this was case was heard at the Court of Appeal. Jakiran’s client remained successful and damages were awarded.

Jakiran previously studied Law at Brunel University London, and completed a year’s placement working in a residential conveyancing firm. Jakiran completed her Legal Practice Course at BPP Holborn.
