Grace joined Bolt Burdon Kemp in September 2024 as a paralegal in the Abuse Claims team. She works alongside Abbie Hickson, assisting with cases against abusers themselves and institutions responsible for them, such as children’s care homes and schools.
Grace has a particular interest in the rights of victims and survivors. She finds it extremely rewarding to help those who have been subjected to abuse, both through achieving compensation and closure through the law. She hopes to make a positive impact in the lives of her clients, supporting them in their pursuit of justice and healing. Grace aims to play a part in effecting wider change, to safeguard others, through the cases she works on.
Prior to joining BBK, Grace obtained a Master’s degree in Law at the University of Law, earning a distinction and Dean’s Award, and completed both the SQE 1 and 2. Alongside her studies, she volunteered as a legal caseworker with survivors of domestic abuse, assisting them with their non-molestation order applications. She has also worked with survivors of human-trafficking as the executive assistant of an anti-modern slavery NGO. She aims to qualify as a solicitor.
