Elly joined Bolt Burdon Kemp in March 2024, as a Paralegal within the Complex Injury team, supporting Joshua Hughes.
Before joining BBK, Elly diligently completed her undergraduate and master’s degrees in law at Cardiff University, with a particular focus on tort and healthcare law. Her academic pursuits laid the groundwork for her passion in the legal field.
Having practiced Personal Injury Law for a year post-graduation, Elly’s path led her to specialise in serious injury. The intricacies of this domain and the chance to effect positive change in the lives of those impacted by injury and injustice drive her forward.
Since joining BBK, Elly is the first point of contact for Personal Injury and Medical Negligence enquiries. She also assists with fatal claims and amputation injuries, contributing her expertise to these challenging cases.
During her time at Cardiff University, Elly actively volunteered and engaged in Pro Bono work with The Innocence Project. Here, she discovered her innate ability to connect with clients facing significant hurdles. Her empathy and adept problem-solving skills naturally fostered strong rapport with those she assisted.
Elly is committed to achieving the best possible outcomes for her clients. Simultaneously, she aspires to become a dedicated solicitor, championing justice for individuals who have endured serious injuries.
