Barbara joined Bolt Burdon Kemp in 2016. She works alongside Sonita Hayward, Senior Associate & Head of Public Affairs, Kim Alexander, Public Affairs Manager and Mona Chogri Digital Marketing Executive to support in the effective implementation and delivery of the firm’s communications and Public Affairs plans.
A key part of her role involves managing the firm’s online presence and tone across all social media channels, including creating/curating, copywriting, scheduling and targeting content. She ensures that it supports both the primary strategic priorities and meets the needs of the firm, clients and charity partners aligned with the firm’s work and ethos. A central part of Barbra’s role is video creation. She organises filming, is in charge of reviewing and editing footage and ensures the final product successfully fits the brief whilst representing BBK. She also supports internal communications and digital campaigns. Barbara is in charge of collating marketing data to help progress the new business function and provides wider support in assisting with general communications and public affairs projects.
Prior to joining BBK, Barbara gained her BA Public Relations degree at Westminster University and has years of communications experience working in-house and for PR/communications agencies.
Passionate about providing a streamlined service and creating a strong and accurate tone of voice for the firm, Barbara works hard to ensure the firm’s online presence is continually growing and represents BBK fully.
