Laura Robertson-Hayes

Laura joined the firm in July 2019 and is a solicitor in our Child Brain Injury team.  She focuses solely on representing children who have been suffered brain injury as a result of clinical negligence, whilst also supporting her clients’ families whose lives have often been transformed beyond recognition as a result.

Prior to working at Bolt Burdon Kemp, Laura trained at a regional firm and qualified as a clinical negligence solicitor in October 2017.  During her training contract, Laura spent one year representing claimants in clinical negligence cases and six months working in the Private Client department gaining experience with the Court of Protection team.

Laura has experience of working on a varied clinical negligence case load and has expertise in complex injury claims ranging from stillbirth, neonatal death, orthopaedic injury, psychiatric injury, claims relating to consent, delays in diagnosis and fatalities.  She has a particular interest in claims surrounding childbirth and injuries to both mother and baby.

Laura joined the Child Brain Injury team because she wanted to work closely with injured children and their families to ensure that they are given the best chance of living a full and happy life despite their injuries.  Laura is empathetic to the individual needs of all of her clients and is determined to succeed in getting them the best results possible.

Laura completed her undergraduate degree at Queen Mary, University of London and the University of Miami.  She went onto complete her Graduate Diploma in Legal Studies at the University of East Anglia and her Legal Practice Course at the University of Law, London.
