Witness Appeal – abuse by David Prosser, kickboxing teacher, West London

I have recently been instructed by a client who suffered sexual abuse as a child at the hands of David Prosser.  Prosser is a prolific abuser who was convicted in 2009 of abusing 21 children in the West London and Wiltshire areas whilst teaching kickboxing classes.  He received a 21 year prison sentence for his crimes.  Prosser’s classes took place at Dormers Wells Leisure Centre, Dormers Wells Community Centre, Swimarama and the Shadwell Community Centre in Notholt.

Prosser was recently prosecuted again when my client and another man bravely reported Prosser’s abuse against them to the police.  He was jailed for a further three and a half years.

Prosser abused at least 23 children over 20 years between 1980 and 2000 and his victims were aged between 9 and 13 years.  It is possible that there are more victims who have not yet felt able to come forward and speak about their abuse.
