The Spinal Injures Association Conference
The Spinal Injuries Association is a charity that provides information and assistance to people who have suffered an injury to their spinal cord. As a solicitor who specialises in representing Claimants who have suffered catastrophic injuries, last week I attended a conference organised by the Spinal Injuries Association.
A variety of expert speakers took part. Barristers provided excellent training and legal updates and leading medical specialists provided information about spinal cord injuries, pain management and rehabilitation. We also heard from Dave Bracher, who became a Trustee for the Spinal Injuries Association after he became spinal cord injured. Dave gave a talk entitled “a day in the life of a spinal cord injured person” which was extremely informative.
The whole day was very interesting and a great source of information, the majority of which is not only applicable to my clients who have suffered spinal cord injuries but also to my clients who have suffered other catastrophic injuries.
