Supporting Sexual Abuse and Sexual Violence Awareness Week – #ItsNotOkay

Monday 5th February 2024 marks the start of Sexual Abuse and Sexual Violence Awareness Week.

This week-long campaign aims to encourage people and organisations to get talking about how these harmful acts can be prevented.

We hope this week puts an even brighter spotlight on the topic and that people who have experienced any form of sexual abuse or violence know that it is not their fault, and that support is available.

Sexual abuse and violence is often a subject that is not loudly spoken about, leading to many voices going unheard. This week invites anyone to speak out about their stories and share what this campaign means to them.

At Bolt Burdon Kemp, we want everyone to know there is help available. Our specialist abuse lawyers are all dedicated to helping victims of sexual abuse and violence.

Sexual abuse and violence is not OK and should not be tolerated. To get involved in the conversation you can use #ItsNotOkay on social media.
