Former Hampshire police officer Gerard Hutchings charged with sexual offences
Gerard Hutchings, a former police officer who worked in Hampshire has been charged with 29 offences of sexual misconduct relating to 18 complainants. The alleged offences took place at police stations in Hampshire between 1999 and 2007 with some of the complainants being as young as 17 years old at the time of the offending.
Hutchings retired from the Hampshire Police Force in 2007. The investigation into the allegations began in 2021.
