Patients of Surrey Cancer Doctor Paul Miller – Free and Informal Legal Advice Session
1 November 2014 from 1pm to 5.30pm at the Harlequin Theatre and Cinema
Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust has written to more than a thousand patients treated by Mr Paul Miller, Consultant Urologist after colleagues raised concerns about treatment he provided to bladder and prostrate cancer patients at East Surrey Hospital over a 7 year period from 2006 to November last year. Mr Miller also treated patients on a private basis at the Spire Gatwick Hospital.
Worryingly, an investigation by the Royal College of Surgeons found that ‘serious significant harm’ had come to 27 patients as a result of the treatment under Mr Miller, who has been dismissed from his post by Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust.
