Different Strokes Conference

In October 2021, Different Strokes, the charity for younger stroke survivors, ran their virtual ‘RECLAIM’ conference – a week of free virtual webinars to help younger stroke survivors take charge of their stroke recovery.

Laura Barlow, Senior Associate in our Adult Brain Injury team, was delighted to be able to present to stroke survivors about reclaiming their rights after stroke. Laura talked about the various legal issues that people can face after suffering a stroke, be it related to their employment, family or finances, and explained what goes into setting up a private rehabilitation package after stroke. There were also some fantastic questions from the online audience about legal issues they have faced after a stroke.
