Tori joined Bolt Burdon Kemp in June 2024 as a paralegal in the Adult Brain Injury team, where she assists Laura Barlow in handling various claims related to clinical negligence and personal injury.
Tori’s understanding of complex neurological issues and passion for equity, integrity and accountability drives her commitment to achieving the best possible outcomes for clients. Tori enjoys being part of a team that shares her values and is dedicated to securing the necessary compensation for clients to facilitate effective rehabilitation and significantly improve their quality of life going forward.
During her time studying at the University of Exeter, Toria recognised how her medical studies intrinsically linked with the legal landscape particularly within the areas of neurological disease, brain injury and clinical negligence. It was her studies in brain injuries due to negligent births and the delay in diagnosis of brain injuries and neurodegenerative disease that prompted Tori to investigate a legal career. Tori soon realised that she wanted to direct her diligence, knowledge and drive in helping those with severe brain injuries and she decided to pursue a career in law.
Tori graduated from the University of Exeter in July 2023 with a bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience, an innovative degree progressing the treatment and understanding of neurological diseases, neuropharmacology and brain injury. Victoria also achieved a First in her dissertation on future drug development and potential therapeutic targets for neurodegenerative diseases. After completing her degree, Tori completed her Graduate Diploma in Law at the University of Law in 2024, where she was awarded a Distinction.
