Megan joined Bolt Burdon Kemp in October 2024 as a Paralegal. She works alongside Jessica Standley in the Abuse team, specialising in bringing claims for compensation on behalf of survivors of abuse.
Megan is committed to representing clients who have suffered harm or distress caused by individuals or organisations, ensuring clients feel empowered and supported throughout the legal process and beyond. She is passionate about securing justice for clients and pushing the boundaries of the law to recognise and accommodate survivors’ needs.
Prior to joining BBK, Megan was a Judge’s Clerk in the High Court assisting a High Court Judge in the King’s Bench Division on a variety of civil claims, including personal injury. In this role, Megan also developed a comprehensive understanding of criminal proceedings, having assisted a Judge on high-profile criminal trials, including in relation to manslaughter, GBH and infanticide offences.
Megan completed her undergraduate degree in Law (LLB) at the University of Sheffield. Alongside her degree, she undertook volunteer work at Support Through Court, a charity which provides free, emotional and independent support to individuals without legal representation.
