Laura joined Bolt Burdon Kemp’s HR department in October 2024 as the firm’s Recruitment Coordinator. She works alongside Louise Pye, and supports the wider team. Her responsibilities include overseeing the recruitment lifecycle for prospective employees and coordinating the new starter process for anyone joining Bolt Burdon Kemp.

She aims to find the best people to join the ever-growing firm, working closely with group heads to help shape Bolt Burdon Kemp. She also runs and manages the ongoing relationships we have with external recruitment agencies, in order to find talented individuals to take the next step in their career by joining the firm,

Laura is passionate about ensuring that Bolt Burdon Kemp can provide everyone with an enjoyable experience when considering joining the firm and is the initial point of contact for anyone looking to find out more. Her work spans the onboarding process from setting up the first-round interview, to starting on the first day.

Laura has extensive recruitment experience, having previously worked in both healthcare recruitment and technology recruitment, and brings this expertise to Bolt Burdon Kemp. Laura’s involvement doesn’t just stop at the offer stage, and she loves seeing people thrive in their new positions as they continue to grow and succeed in their chosen careers.

Laura graduated with a degree in Law in 2019 and has always found the legal sector to be fascinating. She enjoys combining her degree with the world of talent acquisition.
