Fran joined the firm in April 2023 as a Legal Cashier and works alongside Louisa Pounder, (Accounts Manager & Senior Associate), Bethany Dollimore (Cashier Manager) Subha Sabeshan (Senior Cashier), and Caroline White (Finance Clerk).

Before joining BBK, Fran worked as an Accounts Assistant at another firm of solicitors who specialised in different aspects of law such as conveyancing, crime, wills and probate and civil disputes. There she assisted with daily tasks including processing completions, processing the crime billing to submit to LAA, checking/approving completion statements, processing bills, taking costs ensuring SRA rules are followed and assisted solicitors with any queries on their ledgers.

At BBK Fran has a number of varied roles; one is the allocation of any money that comes into the firm bank accounts and making sure the appropriate solicitor is aware of its arrival. Fran can also approve payments that are coming out of our accounts that have been set up in line with the solicitors’ accounts rules. Fran can also set these payments up in line with the solicitors’ accounts rules and she assists with any general cashiering tasks throughout the day.

Fran is very passionate about Finance; she is also passionate about offering an outstanding service to our clients and the firm. Fran has so far completed her AAT Level 2, which she is hoping to add to over her time at BBK.
