Annabel joined the firm in September 2024 as a paralegal in the Spinal Injury department in Rhiannon Daniel’s team.

Annabel obtained a first-class undergraduate degree in History at the University of Kent. Here she focused her study on medical history writing her undergraduate dissertation on the legal and social impact of the drug Thalidomide. This gave Annabel early exposure to medical law and is what initially sparked her interest in the field.

Annabel then went on to complete a PGDip in Law and professional practice at King’s College London which gave her a thorough introduction to all the core modules of law as well as an introduction to professional skills.

Annabel is passionate about medical law, particularly in modern development and how technology impacts regulation. She spent time during her undergraduate studies looking into the development of robotic surgery and how this has changed the roles and responsibilities of medical professionals.

She has a background working with disabled people having previously volunteered with a charity helping disabled children, and ran several fundraising events for various charities during her time at university, including completing the three peaks challenge.

Annabel runs a social media channel where she both documents her journey in law and creates educational content for her followers. She hopes to continue to use her platform for advocacy, particularly to raise awareness of issues faced by those with disabilities.
