Amie is a Support Clerk who joined Bolt Burdon Kemp in October 2023. The support team is responsible for providing operational support to all areas within the firm.
Her daily responsibilities include general legal administration, such as the scanning, amending and formatting of documents as well as preparing trial bundles. In addition, she is responsible for dispatching internal and external post, office housekeeping as well as liaising with fee earners.
Amie holds a Law Degree from the University of Kent as well as a master’s in international law from the University of Law. Prior to joining Bolt Burdon Kemp, Amie was a volunteer at a law clinic where she helped clients both in person and over the phone with issues surrounding debt, employment, housing and immigration.
From her experience as a volunteer, she developed a passion for aiding vulnerable clients and bringing awareness to social justice issues. She brings this passion with her to her current role at Bolt Burdon Kemp. In addition, Amie has experience in the hospitality sector where she enjoyed the fast paced and daily changing environment, she brings the experience she has gained from the hospitality industry as well as legal volunteering to her role at Bolt Burdon Kemp as she acts as the first point of contact between clients and fee earners.
Amie is passionate about medical negligence and personal injury and aspires to become a solicitor in one of these fields.
