Aliya is a Solicitor Apprentice at Bolt Burdon Kemp. She completed her A- Levels in the summer of 2022 and began her Apprenticeship soon after.
Aliya is studying for her undergraduate Law degree, alongside working at BBK. This would enable Aliya to apply and further develop the skills and knowledge she learns in Law school in real life cases. Aliya is currently working in the Support Team where she is understanding how a law firm operates and greeting clients upon their arrival.
This consists of scanning documents, dispatching post, answering client calls and providing hospitality for events. Aliya is going to rotate around the different departments to gain a greater insight into each area of negligence and learn more about the legal procedures.
In doing so, Aliya will be able to delve deeper into each department and allow her to apply her knowledge on different legal cases and will have a holistic view on the work we do at BBK. This would give Aliya the opportunity to see which department she would like to work in when she qualifies as a Solicitor.
