“Horatio’s Garden Salisbury as so grateful to Bolt Burdon Kemp for their very generous sponsorship of the Summer Fundraising Weekend. Their generosity has covered all the costs of the weekend enabling the charity to raise the vital funds needed to provide events and activities for patients at Horatio’s Garden at the Duke of Cornwall Spinal Treatment Centre. People who have experienced spinal cord injury face long stays in hospital and Horatio’s Garden gives a place of sanctuary and distraction away from the clinical environment. Thank you to everyone at Bolt Burdon Kemp for helping so much with the fundraising.”
I contacted multiple solicitors when searching for someone to represent me. The professionalism of the BBK team stood out instantly. They kept this professionalism throughout the whole case, which lasted a number of years. Special thanks goes to Ben Pepper for managing my case. He kept me well updated, well advised and was a pleasure to deal with. I would recommend Ben without hesitation.
Thank you and your team for everything that you have done for me and my family over the past three years, although it has been in difficult circumstances, it has been a pleasure working with yourself and your colleagues.
Thank you for everything you have done. You not only did the most professional job you could have, but you soothed my anxiety without knowing after each phone call, you were sensitive, polite and so understanding and you listened to me which means more.
I lost my son in the most devastating way in a road traffic accident. He was 16 years old. I got in touch with Ben Pepper at Bolt Burton Kemp. From the first conversation with Ben I felt so comfortable. He guided me through every step of the civil claim. I was never left wondering what was going on. He also offered me support through my grief, listening to my sadness on the phone. I cannot thank Ben and the whole team at Bolt Burton Kemp enough for their hard work and constant determination to resolve my claim. Thank you to you all. I would highly recommend them. Thank you again.
Firstly, I would like to thank David McClenaghan for his initial help with my case, which was then passed to Joseph Carr who has handled my case.
I was very impressed with the professional way in which Joseph handled my case from the outset to the very satisfactory outcome. At all times through our many telephone conversations and our meeting with him at your offices Joseph was so very understanding and compassionate at some difficult times during my case. Joseph kept me informed at all times how things were progressing and was very good at explaining any complex details or wording to me. I built up a good rapport with Joseph over the time that he was dealing with my case.
The way that Joseph handled everything helped me to make it less traumatic for me.
I would definitely recommend your company.
I cannot think of anything further to say to improve your excellent service.
I wish to thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the assistance and support you have given to me during this time.
As you are aware i have had dealings with numerous lawyers over the years throughout my business and personal life. It’s without question that you and your company are the best I have ever dealt with and I will have no hesitation in recommending you to others.
Ipek Tugcu she was so helpful and very understanding in a very difficult time.
Many thanks Alex. You have been a star. Certainly made the correct choice in contacting you. Can’t thank you enough.
I cannot express my gratitude to you both for all your hard work over the past 3 years, I’m glad I found an amazing team able to take on my case and help me win with an outcome I am over the moon with.
I approached BBK just after my Armed Forces Compensation Scheme claim had been refused at tribunal. My case was far too complex for me to prove negligence on my own, even with the help of forces charities.
From the outset it was clear that my claim would take time, compounded by the fact I was still and am currently still serving, also still receiving medical treatment. I knew the treatment I received while in Afghanistan for a newly presented illness was negligible and BBK took the case on and from there they handled my case brilliantly.
I knew I was in good hands. This is not a firm that overloads its staff. The team I was dealing with were always on hand for updates and seemed genuinely concerned when treatment wasn’t working for me or I was having a bad time and compassion goes a long way in my book. They were always professional but always understanding and adaptable to my needs.
I quickly learnt that this is a firm that likes to get things done so we’re on my wavelength. It’s key to keep things moving so swift responses to their questions and keeping them updated at all times was important to me as it makes their job easier being updated along the way rather than chasing people. Claims can be time critical so it’s key to stay on top of it.
Making a claim against the MoD can be a daunting prospect, especially for younger soldiers who may feel they will get in trouble for doing so. This is not something to worry about, especially when dealing with one of the top firms in this sector.
The process took time but ultimately was made much easier by the team being so attentive and proactive and would recommend BBK highly to anybody and in fact have on a few occasions.
You were brilliant from day one and I could not have had anyone better fighting my corner. My experiences through this process have really restored my faith in the legal process.
“Having developed numerous health problems following a work place accident and then being unceremoniously dismissed on capability grounds whilst still receiving treatment for my injuries, I contacted Bolt Burden Kemp. The company had been recommended to me and I was immediately impressed with all the professional advice and help that I received. My Solicitor, Ben Pepper, and his assistant, Tracy Smith, were always extremely helpful and considerate during this difficult time, both helping me to navigate the process of gathering all the necessary evidence and drafting all the legal paperwork towards developing the strongest case possible. They helped arrange invaluable appointments with numerous medical professionals, consistently updated me during what can feel like a daunting process and always provided me with conscientious and essential legal advice. I am extremely grateful for all their help towards seeking financial support for my future treatment and hopeful recovery.”
‘Initially I was wary of getting involved in litigation. I’d heard it could take years and I worried it would rake up painful memories for my family and I; However, Flora, our main contact at Bolt Burdon and Kemp was clear, efficient and genuine from the beginning. Bringing this case against the medical team responsible gave us a more positive way of dealing with this and will now help us make a life for our child. I would recommend Bolt Burdon Kemp and particularly Flora without hesitation.
Niamh went above and beyond to keep me informed, calling me abroad, accommodating my turbulent lifestyle, Niamh was fantastic, she exceeded my expectations.
Serving as a Reservist I was injured due to the collapse of a ladder, while working for my unit. Bolt Burdon Kemp came highly recommended by a friend and lived up to that recommendation!! From start to finish, Kate Roos was a pleasure to deal with, putting up with my questions and providing me with frequent updates. She was always realistic and reigned in my enthusiasm, but was firmly on my side during the negotiations!!! I had never considered litigation before and would wholeheartedly recommend Bolt Burdon Kemp to my service colleagues.
Thank you for all you do. You have gone beyond what I feel you should do to make it alright for us and I thank you for that.
I have no hesitation in recommending Bolt Burdon Kemp as the legal firm any serving or veteran service personnel should contact in the event that they may need to take legal action against the MOD. From initial contact, to my case being resolved almost 5 years later, every person I have dealt with at the firm, from reception staff to partner level, have been professional, courteous and above all respectful and understanding with all aspects relating to my case.
On a more personal note, I wanted to express to you my deepest and warmest thank you for what has been an exceptional outcome and unwavering job well done. It is always a pleasure to work with and align with individuals that hold a similar set of values and determination to see something through. Your support and mentorship over the past years has been second to none and demonstrates a morale justice that extends beyond business. I would also like to forward that sentiment to your team who have supported you and I throughout.
I would like to thank everyone at BBK for everything that you have done for me…..in particular Siobhan, Selina and Jonathan. While money can never erase what happened it does go some way to bringing some kind of closure and recognition from the school of what happened. Thank you all so much.
