Bryan Greenhalgh Admits 14 Sex Abuse Charges

Bryan Greenhalgh, a former boarding master at Sheringham Court School in Norfolk and Thurlby Manor School in Lincolnshire has admitted 14 counts of child abuse offences relating to eight former pupils of the school.

Greenhalgh is due to return to court on 23rd May 2014. He will be sentenced later this year in respect of 13 counts of indecent assault and one serious sexual assault committed in the 1970s and 1980s. Greenhalgh has been warned that he faces a real risk of a life sentence.

Ken Wells, another former employee at the schools was also charged with one offence of gross indecency at the same hearing and entered a not guilty plea.
