Allegations of abuse against Terrence Matthews at Medway Towns Sea Cadets, Kent

We are acting on behalf of a number of clients in relation to sexual abuse by Terrence Matthews whilst at the Medway Towns Sea Cadets in Kent.  The abuse by Matthews spanned a number of decades and the abuse our clients were subjected to has had a traumatic effect upon their lives.  Matthews passed away in December however we are working on obtaining our clients the support and justice that they deserve through their civil compensation claims for the abuse they suffered.

Compensation can fund vital support for survivors of abuse, including payment for therapy, providing help and treatment for substance or alcohol dependency and loss of income for those whose future potential was negatively impacted as a result of what they have been through.

If you have any information or have suffered abuse at the hands of Terrence Mathews at any time whilst a member of the Sea Cadets, you can anonymously contact Joseph Carr in our Abuse team on 020 7288 4807 or
