Josh has experience of bringing claims both domestically and abroad.

Josh now leads a team of specialist lawyers and regularly features in the Legal 500, the industry’s leading legal directory for his contribution to the sector. Most recently, he is described as a “Key Lawyer” and a “Next Generation Partner” for his significant recognition from clients and peers.

Josh has a proven track record for acting for clients who have sustained life-changing orthopaedic injuries including upper and lower limb amputations. Since 2017, Josh has been actively involved in supporting the limbloss community through his work with the national charity, the Limbless Association.

Over the last decade, Josh has also developed an expertise in dealing with technical claims involving fatalities. Josh is currently acting in several high-profile fatality claims, some of which involve cross border litigation and require a knowledge of foreign laws and jurisdictions.

Josh is highly experienced in  litigating  medical misdiagnosis, women’s health, sensory loss and surgical negligence claims against private hospitals, NHS Trusts and GPs. He is engaged in the development of the firm’s burgeoning Women’s Health team acting on behalf of women who have received delayed gynaecological cancer diagnoses or sustained maternal trauma in childbirth.

In recent times, Josh has also developed a particular interest in the emergence of claims arising from modern forms of transport like e-scooters. Moreover, he regularly contributes to stakeholder discussions on the development of laws around automated vehicles, as well as holding an interest in automation claims including robotic surgery.

Josh has become a prominent commentator on automation, smart motorways and e-scooters – regularly featuring in the national media on the topics.

Josh is an accredited Senior Litigator with the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers.
