John Brian Hall sentenced for further child sex offences at Derby Crown Court

Hall, of New Mills Derbyshire, had already served jail sentences for sexual offences that occurred during the 1980s to 2001. He was convicted once more on 20 May 2016 for sexual offences against two young men dating back to the 1960s and 1970s.

Judge Egbuna described Hall as “evil” and the abuse he perpetrated as having a “devastating” effect on his victims. Hall was sentenced to 14 years imprisonment.
