BBKs commitment

BBK is fully committed to its responsibilities under the Modern Slavery Act 2015. This commitment involves ongoing reviews of internal practices and supply chains to prevent involvement in modern slavery.

BBK does not knowingly engage with any organisations, within the UK or internationally, that support slavery, servitude, or forced labour. Furthermore, BBK strictly adheres to the minimum standards required by employment legislation in England and Wales.

No labour involved in BBK’s services is acquired through modern slavery or human trafficking.

Supply Chains

Our primary suppliers are first-tier intermediaries with further contractual relationships extending to lower-tier suppliers.

Risk Assessment

While BBK considers its exposure to slavery and human trafficking risks to be limited, we are mindful of certain areas, such as:

  • The procurement of IT equipment production and supply
  • Facilities contracts with cleaning companies ect
  • Everyday support services, such as taxis or couriers

These areas may involve labour sourced from countries with less stringent human rights protections. BBK has a zero-tolerance policy towards modern slavery and will take immediate remediation action with suppliers if any such practices are identified.

BBK has appointed a Compliance Officer, Amanda Garner, to address and act on any concerns related to modern slavery.

Steps Taken

In accordance with section 54(4) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015, BBK has implemented the following measures to ensure modern slavery does not occur:

  • Reviewed our supplier contracts
  • Embedded a zero-tolerance policy on modern slavery
  • Provided comprehensive training for our Practise Management Team

Policies
