Rhicha is head of the firm’s Military department and a partner at Bolt Burdon Kemp.
Since joining Bolt Burdon Kemp in 2012, she has developed a dedicated practice in representing service personnel, veterans and their families in bringing personal injury and clinical negligence claims. She understands the very unique culture of life in the military and the effect it has, on not only personnel, but also their families. The Legal 500 (2018), a leading legal directory, describes Rhicha as:

Rhicha has successfully spearheaded high profile litigation against the Ministry of Defence (MoD), including the terrifying military aviation ‘Voyager’ incident, which resulted in a vast number of passengers suffering with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. She has a strong interest in mental health related claims and is a passionate advocate for ending the stigma faced by veterans who suffer with this illness in silence.
She has significant experience in personal injury claims involving non freezing cold injuries, training accidents, defective work equipment, sexual assaults, stress at work and fatal accident claims. Rhicha has a proven track record in successfully winning clinical negligence claims against the MoD to include delays in diagnosing: compartment syndrome, PTSD, testicular cancer, tuberculosis and other very serious health conditions.
Rhicha is an active supporter of BLESMA, Combat Stress and other like-minded military charities whose work she finds is of immense value to her clients and other veterans alike. She advocates for a holistic approach to rehabilitation and is committed to ensuring that long term funding is in place for her clients to meet their lifelong rehabilitation needs.
Rhicha was successfully elected, and has retained the role of, Secretary of the APIL Military Group since 2015, and as of 2018 was elected to Coordinator of this specialist interest Group. She is an active member of Forces Law, a national network of lawyers who specialise in advising service personnel about their legal rights. Rhicha is a regular contributor to military publications and is frequently invited to comment on issues affecting the military by the national press.
