Kavita joined Bolt Burdon Kemp in August 2026 as a Solicitor Apprentice in the Support Team. As part of her apprenticeship, Kavita will rotate through a variety of teams across BBK, providing exposure to different areas of law and the ability to support clients with a wide range of claims.
As part of the Support Team, she plays a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the firm. She supports practice areas across the business by coordinating critical document production, managing matter related processes, handling client enquiries, and providing essential support that enables legal teams to deliver an exceptional service to clients.
Prior to joining BBK, Kavita gained experience supporting a Legal Aid Housing contract, working closely with fee earners and clients throughout the progression of legal matters. This experience developed her strong client care skills and taught her the importance of empathy and clear communication, particularly when supporting clients experiencing difficult and stressful circumstances. She understands the importance of listening carefully, recognising individuals needs and ensuring clients feel informed and supported through their legal journey.
Alongside her work at BBK, Kavita is studying as part of her Solicitor Apprenticeship, combining academic study with practical legal experience. She hopes to use this as an opportunity to build her legal knowledge, develop practical skills and gain hands on experience across a range of practice areas. As she progresses through her apprenticeship Kavita aims to identify the area of law that best reflects her strengths, interests and ambitions, ultimately enabling her to make an informed decision about where she would like to qualify.
