Chloe joined Bolt Burdon Kemp in May 2025 as a Paralegal in the firm’s Military Claims team. Working closely with Gaggan Mawi, she assists on a wide range of cases, including bullying and harassment, catastrophic injury, and clinical negligence. She is committed to providing clear, compassionate support to clients throughout every stage of the litigation process.
Before joining Bolt Burdon Kemp, Chloe worked as a paralegal within government departments, specialising in military‑related work. Her role involved managing disclosure, liaising with witnesses, and supporting complex investigations. Through this work, she developed a strong understanding of the pressures faced by serving personnel, veterans, and their families. Chloe also has a personal connection to the military which enables her to empathise with families and appreciate the realities of military life.
Chloe’s decision to focus on civil litigation was driven by her passion for working directly with clients and her desire to help individuals navigate some of the most challenging moments of their lives. She is motivated by the opportunity to ensure that those who have been harmed, particularly within the military environment, are heard, supported, and able to access justice.
Chloe graduated from the University of Sheffield in 2024 with a Law Degree. As part of her studies, she spent a year at the University of Antwerp, where she focused on international law and undertook a specialist module in the law of healthcare and ethics. This experience, alongside studies of Tort Law, sparked a long‑standing interest in medical law and the impact that failures within institutions and government departments can have on individual wellbeing.
Chloe aspires to qualify as a solicitor specialising in personal injury and clinical negligence.
