Bolt Burdon Kemp – officially a top law firm!
The Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners directories published their new web based editions today. Both directories contain an independently verified listing of the top law firms in the country. Bolt Burdon Kemp has consistently been ranked as leaders in our field, and this year is no exception. And we would like to point out that – unlike some firms – we don’t pay to get included!
This is what they say about us this year:
Legal 500:
CLINICAL NEGLIGENCE: The ‘top-quality’ three-partner team at Bolt Burdon Kemp is led by Caroline Klage and is praised for its ‘ability to assess individual needs and address them accordingly’. The firm receives instructions on cases involving brain injury at birth, brain damage, cerebral palsy, general surgery, spinal injury, and infectious diseases. The firm also has expertise in advising service and ex-service personnel who have suffered injury as a result of negligent treatment at the hands of medical officers employed by the MoD in the UK and overseas.
PERSONAL INJURY: Jonathan Wheeler leads the ‘excellent’ three-partner team at Bolt Burdon Kemp. Highlights for 2008 included child abuse, employer’s liability and brain injury claims. Caroline Klage has a specialism in head injury cases, and Joanna Chapman is also recommended.
And our PROFESSIONAL NEGLIGENCE team, led by Stephen Hill, is listed for the first time.
Chambers Directory:
PERSONAL INJURY : “A really deserving injury firm” with a significant presence in high-value traffic accident work, the team here also deals with child abuse and employers’ liability cases. The group recently obtained a landmark House of Lords ruling which overturned the previous time limit on claims involving deliberate assault. Jonathan Wheeler is the key contact.
So whilst we pat ourselves on the back (again) our clients know that their litigation is in the best and safest of hands!
