Webinar: Is the Rehabilitation Prescription improving patient’s lives?

The Rehabilitation Prescription was introduced in 2010 for every patient admitted to a Major Trauma Centre. The aim was to document in one place all rehabilitation needs, so no matter where a patient goes their therapist will be able to easily and efficiently carry on their rehabilitation plan to maximise recovery.

On 28 September 2021, NRC Medical Experts brought together four experts from across the neurorehabilitation sector to discuss whether the Rehabilitation Prescription is achieving its aims. The discussion was chaired by Professor Mike Barnes (clinical director of NRC Medical Experts). The panel included Dr Tom Balchin (stroke survivor and founder of ARNI Stroke Charity), Sara Grimshaw (clinical specialist occupational therapist) and Hokman Wong (specialist brain injury solicitor).

For those that missed it, you can catch up with the discussion and learn their views by watching the recording.
