BBK and fAABI at the movies!
BBK were delighted to invite fAABI back to our offices for a movie night.
There was plenty of pizza, snacks and popcorn to go around, and the movie of choice (as voted by those at fAABI) was ‘Concussion’ starring Will Smith. The IMdB description for those who haven’t seen it:
“Will Smith stars in Concussion, a dramatic thriller based on the incredible true David vs. Goliath story of American immigrant Dr. Bennet Omalu, the brilliant forensic neuropathologist who made the first discovery of CTE, a football-related brain trauma, in a pro player and fought for the truth to be known. Omalu’s emotional quest puts him at dangerous odds with one of the most powerful institutions in the world”
Everyone enjoyed the movie and said how important it was to have films that demonstrate how serious brain trauma can be.
It was wonderful to spend time with some familiar faces and some new attendees, each of them with their own individual stories that are inspirational in so many ways.
If you or someone you know has been affected by a brain injury, please contact this fantastic charity for support and more information on their upcoming events via their website.
