Life at BBK
Working at BBK means being part of a close-knit, highly talented community. Find out what life at BBK is like, and all that we do to support our staff.
Close-knit, dedicated, passionate, specialist teams
We believe that our people develop best when they have a supportive network around them. Despite our continual growth, we make sure that everyone has a clear support structure around them and we ensure team sizes are appropriate to enable this. We like to socialise with one another across a number of events, clubs and regular meetings. Work alongside our dedicated teams specialising in brain injury, spinal injury, military claims, adult and child abuse claims, and complex personal injury or medical negligence cases.
Comprehensive support so you can do what you do best
Delivering an exceptional service to our clients is at the very core of our business. We’re always looking for talented staff to join our team and help us do so. As part of this, we invest heavily in supporting our people, from IT (everyone has a laptop and mobile phone) through to dedicated Costs, Compliance, HR and Support teams. All this ensures the smooth running of the business, and allows our solicitors to focus on what they do best.
Diverse teams for better collaboration and inclusivity
We’re proud to buck the typical law firm trends in terms of diversity and inclusion. Our clients and our staff have diverse histories, and we welcome anyone regardless of their social background, disability, gender, ethnicity, or sexuality. This also means we promote based solely on the person’s ability to do the job. We maintain gender parity throughout our organisation (including the partners and senior management team). Jonathan Wheeler, our managing partner, is a member of The Law Society Council, representing the LGBT+ members’ division, sits on the Law Society’s LGBT+ Committee, and BBK are members of its Equality and Diversity forum.
