Carolina joined Bolt Burdon Kemp in January 2024. She is a paralegal in the Adult Brain Injury team.
Carolina graduated from King’s College London in July 2022 with an undergraduate degree in Law. During her time studying at King’s College London, Carolina also volunteered at the King’s Legal Clinic as a Student Administrator. She provided administrative support in pro-bono cases within various areas of law, including Intellectual Property, Employment, Housing, and Immigration. This experience provided her with an exposure to a myriad of diverse clients and legal issues.
She was later promoted to Team Leader of the Intellectual Property Clinic, managing a team of Student Administrators. Carolina contributed towards the Clinic’s work on providing free intellectual property advice to small traders and businesses, entrepreneurs, start-ups and organisations. During her time at the King’s Legal Clinic, Carolina solidified her interest in problem-solving and pursuing a legal career in hopes of helping achieve the best outcome for others.
In August 2023, she completed her Legal Practice Course with an LLM at the University of Law, Bloomsbury, earning a Commendation. Carolina aspires to qualify as a solicitor in the near future, specialising in serious injury.
Carolina is passionate about helping vulnerable clients who have suffered a serious brain injury and fighting for compensation that they deserve. She is committed to helping ensure that they have a good quality of life going forwards.
Carolina has dual Portuguese and Angolan nationality, and her native language is Portuguese. She also speaks English and Spanish.
