Ellen is a Senior Solicitor in the Complex Injury team at BBK, having joined the firm in January 2024. She specialises in serious injury claims arising from clinical negligence, with particular expertise in women’s health, complications arising from diabetes, and delayed diagnosis cases.
Ellen is especially passionate about supporting families who have lost a loved one as a result of clinical negligence. She has experience with inquests and the coroner’s court. She is proud to be entrusted by bereaved families during some of the most difficult periods of their lives, working to secure financial security for the future while guiding them through the legal process with compassion and understanding.
She has also developed particular expertise in supporting families of children who have been affected by clinical negligence. Ellen builds strong and lasting relationships with families, helping parents navigate complex legal and practical challenges while ensuring children receive the support and care they need.
Throughout her career, Ellen’s strength has been her ability to form genuine connections with her clients through empathy and understanding. She recognises the significant emotional impact that clinical negligence claims can have on individuals and families, and she works hard to minimise that burden wherever possible.
