Victoria Oliver

Victoria is an Associate in the Spinal Injuries Team.  Victoria specialises in acting for those who have suffered spinal injuries as a result of either an accident or negligence.

Victoria has extensive experience in cases involving catastrophic accidents, especially those arising from road traffic accidents where liability is disputed.  Victoria represented the Claimant in Bennett –v- Southwell [2013] EWHC 2382 (QB) and also secured damages in excess of £1 million for a tetraplegic client in a case where liability was heavily disputed.

Victoria has experience in securing damages for clients where valuation is complicated. In a case involving future loss of earnings for a potential football player Victoria was tasked with gathering evidence to support the loss adding several hundred thousand pounds to the Claimant’s claim.

Victoria is passionate about ensuring her clients’ receive compensation that properly compensates them for their losses and enjoys the challenge of calculating and proving unusual losses.

Victoria regularly supports and fundraises for the Spinal Injuries Association and Back Up Trust.  Victoria also volunteers for her local branch of the National Childbirth Trust and has successfully set up a local scheme providing packs of emergency supplies to families in need.
