She is experienced in complex clinical negligence claims involving spinal surgery, missed and delayed diagnosis of Cauda Equina Syndrome, amputation cases and pain cases involving mistakes made both by civilian doctors/hospitals and the Ministry of Defence’s medical teams.
Gaggan’s focus on military claims has honed her understanding of the unique environment faced by serving personnel, veterans and their families, such as the complexities of returning to civilian life and how her clients’ experiences could have translated into future careers and opportunities if they had not suffered injury. When coupled with her experience representing those with serious life-changing injury she is always mindful of the importance of assessing their needs at an early stage and doing everything that she can to ensure that her clients have the best access to rehabilitation and medical experts, wherever possible.
Gaggan is committed to working closely with her clients, advising and supporting them throughout the litigation process. She fights hard to obtain early admissions of liability to secure her clients access to interim damages to help fund immediate needs. She has a proven track record of achieving high value settlements and prides herself on delivering excellent client satisfaction.
Gaggan was an assessor for the Law Society’s Catastrophic Injury Panel.
